Last seasons succesful staging of the VB Twenty20 Cup has prompted the region to open the competition up to all clubs within the Mallee Murray Region. Last seasons champions, Leitchville Gunbower were only three wins away from playing at the MCG and this year the competition is open to all. The Mallee Murray Region has been divided into a North and South Group for this competition so clubs wishing to enter will be playing against teams from the Northern District and Swan Hill District Cri cket Associations in the initial stages. Basically if you keep winning, you will stay in the competition as it is a knockout competition from Round 1. More details on the VB Twenty20 Cup can be found on the website - http://vb2020cup.cricketvictoria.com.au/ At this initial stage the region is seeking clubs intentions to enter the competition. It is not a requirement for the club to be competing in the 1st XI competition at their association. (Your club must be affiliated with the Mallee Murray Cricket Region.
Entries close at 5pm on Monday, September 22nd. Round One and Two of the competition will be held on a Sunday to be advised.
