Introduction to Coaching CourseThe Orientation to Coaching (OTC) Course is a basic introductory coaching course for the first-time cricket coach. It is a 3 hour course that is practical in nature, conducted at a local cricket training venue by a qualified Cricket Victoria Coach Education representative. Outcomes: - Understand the qualities of a successful coach;
- Demonstrate effective communication skills;
- Establish a safe learning environment;
- Understand a variety of fun activities.
For more information visit the Cricket Victoria Website Level One (Development) CourseThe Level 1 Course Program is designed to educate coaches how to teach the fundamental skills of cricket to juniors. The Course is of two days duration with the second day of the course partly made up of a practical assessment which is to be completed by each candidate. It is absolutely necessary to attend both days of the course to be eligible to pass. At the conclusion of the second day, each candidate will be given a workbook to take home and complete. The final result is a combination of both the practical and theoretical assessments. All result information will be forwarded by mail to participants. For more information visit the Cricket Victoria Website Dual Accreditation (Cricket & Football) Coaching CourseCricket Victoria in conjunction with AFL Victoria will be conducting a dual accreditation course on Sunday, May 4th and Monday (evening), May 5th at the Swan Hill College. Cost for the course will be $50 (normally $300) and will cover topics for coaching junior cricket and football.
